Full Hook Up Sites
It is recommended for stays over 3 nights that you have booked a site with water and electricity. For stays over 5 nights booking a site with water, electricity and sewer will assure that you will have a vacation without any service issues. Please consider this when making your RV campsite reservation.
Dry Camping (No hookups)
Our units are delivered with enough battery and propane to last for 3-4 nights while dry camping. Battery consumption is the major issue for this duration. Conservative use of all electrical equipment will play heavily on the battery reserve. Although we do not offer generators as part of our current rental offerings, it is recommended that for stays over 3 nights a small RV generator is rented. Please let us know if we can help you with a generator rental, we would be happy to help and recommend a local rental company. Our charge to come and replace a dead battery is $60 for our local service areas.
The use of awnings is the sole responsibility of the renter. Should you not wish to be responsible, please leave the awnings retracted.
Our units are equipped with power awnings, your orientation will show you the proper use and operation of the awning.
NEVER OPERATE THE AWNING WITHIN THE PROXIMITY OF YOUR CAMPFIRE!
NEVER LEAVE THE AWNING OUT WHILE SLEEPING.
NEVER LEAVE THE AWNING UN-ATTENDED
DO NOT HANG ANYTHING ON THE AWNING ARMS.
DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO HANG OFF THE AWNING ARMS.
NEVER, EVER LEAVE AWNINGS OUT IN THE WIND!
RV air conditioning is not designed for use over extended periods of time. They can ice up if left on for too long, especially if set too cold or if doors and windows are left open during A/C use. Turn the A/C off if you plan to be out of the unit for any length of time. If icing occurs, you will notice very little airflow from the vents and a lack of cooling. Should this happen, turn the A/C off for 2-3 hours minimum to thaw out. Use of the A/C requires a minimum 30 AMP power service. Operation of the A/C service on battery or a service less than 30 AMP is not permitted; damage to the compressor will occur.
You will be given a single set of keys with your rental unit. After your stay you will be required to put the keys in a lock box on located on the tongue of the trailer.
In the event you lose or misplace the keys, we keep a spare emergency set of keys in a hidden lock box on the unit; however, a $50 fee will be charged against your damage deposit if this needs to be used to replace lost or misplaced keys.
No Smoking Policy
We are very proud of the condition we keep our units in. All units are non-smoking. If there is evidence of smoking inside the trailer your damage deposit will not be returned to you.
Woof, we are sorry we do not allow pets in our trailers.
Please consider the following to meet our expectations of a cleaned unit. We will provide the necessary cleaning supplies as part of your rental.
All dishes and utensils be washed and put away
All counters, table top, sinks, tub/shower, and appliances be wiped down
The inside of oven, microwave, and refrigerator should be wiped clean
All garbage/recycling should be taken out of trailer and put in appropriate bins in campground
Floors should be swept, mopped and any spills on carpets or upholstery wiped up.
Towel and bedding laundry is the responsibility of Island Time RV Rentals.
Upon full payment of your rental a $500 cleaning/damage deposit will be authorized against your credit card. This deposit will be released within 3 days once the unit is returned and inspected to be cleaned, without damage and in good working order. Should the unit be returned in an unclean condition a $125 charge will be deducted from your deposit.
If damage does occur your deposit will be used to cover the cost of the repairs or pay any insurance deductibles. All repair charges will be documented and should damages/repairs exceed the amount of the deposit the Renter who has agreed to these terms and conditions authorizes additional charges to be applied to his/her credit card or remit full payment of the repair costs by cash on demand. The Renter agrees to pay all charges in excess and agrees to not dispute these charges. If repairs are required during your rental period you must call Island Time RV Rentals for preauthorization before any parts are purchased or any repairs are made. In the case of an accident a police report must be filed and Island Time RV Rentals must be notified immediately.
Any damages to the interior or exterior of the rented unit and all related costs are the sole responsibility of the Renter named in this agreement. This includes damages caused by negligence, abuse, neglect, a third party or acts of nature(wind, rain, fire, flood etc.), for example not retracting the awning during a wind storm.
Our unit doors are equipped with large handles for your safety. The door steps have anti-skid tape and are marked with reflective tape. Although these measures are in place it is always recommended to exercise caution and use an adequate outdoor light source at dusk/night/dawn when entering or leaving the unit.
